i think i might be pregnant

If you’re thinking about your choices for a pregnancy, Journey Clinic will help you:

Early pregnancy loss is common

Some pregnancies end naturally in an early miscarriage, so you’ll want to confirm that your pregnancy is still active. Research shows that early pregnancy loss occurs in 10% of all clinically recognized pregnancies, and approximately 80% of all pregnancy loss occurs within the first trimester.

It is possible to get a positive pregnancy test, even while in the early stages of miscarriage.

Journey Clinic provides a medical quality pregnancy test to verify that you are currently pregnant.

You need to know exactly how far along you are

Whether you’re contemplating abortion, adoption, or parenting, your options and available resources may change significantly depending on the age of the fetus.

An ultrasound is the best tool to gather this information.

Journey Clinic provides and refers for early pregnancy confirmation ultrasound that will determine the approximate gestational age of the fetus.

Ectopic pregnancy

Not all pregnancies implant in the uterus. A pregnancy outside of the uterus, most commonly knows as Ectopic or Tubal pregnancy, is a life-threatening situation. Early detection is essential, and a pregnancy confirmation ultrasound can help rule this out and determine the location of the pregnancy.

If your pregnancy is ectopic, you’ll need a different procedure than a medical or surgical abortion.

Journey Clinic provides and refers for early pregnancy confirmation ultrasound.

We listen without judgement

Everyone’s situation is unique. Therefore, we will carefully listen without judgement to your thoughts and circumstances.

Journey clinic provides evidence-based information from advocates and nurses. A typical appointment includes:

  • A conversation about your specific situation with your advocate
  • A brief medical history with your nurse, and a pregnancy test
  • A discussion about your options whether it’s abortion, parenting your child, or making a parenting plan to placing your baby.
  • Education
  • Answering any questions you may have

Many have discovered how much they needed to talk it through with an advocate at Journey Clinic.
